“I like to think that something survives after you die,” Jobs says. “It’s strange to think that you accumulate all this experience, and maybe a little wisdom, and it just goes away. So I really want to believe that something survives, that maybe your consciousness endures.”
Jobs then fell silent for what Isaacson describes as a “very long time,” before continuing.
“But on the other hand, perhaps it’s like an on-off switch. … Click! And you’re gone.”

The Mayor conveniently failed to mention that he’d taken his anger and directed it at wholly innocent targets, the dispatchers who have to field 911 calls (and who have to deal with issues far more serious than having a comedian in the driveway).

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford is apologizing for using the “f-word" during a 911 phone call but denies a report that he called dispatchers “bitches."
Coun. Adam Vaughan says This Hour should not have ambushed the mayor on his property, but now there’s only one way to clear the air.
“If it’s a he-said, she-said, the-mayor-said scenario, release the tape and we’ll understand what happened," said Vaughan. “Until he releases the tape, there’s a cloud of controversy hanging over it and people are going to talk about it."

What’s wrong with saying the “F-word" when call 911? Those operators never handle your needs at once. They are exactly like those in the movie, never realize how URGENT when someone call 911.
Same as calling Rogers customer service, I always want to say “F" and hang up.
New York City police in riot gear swept into a Lower Manhattan park to remove Occupy Wall Street protesters early today following similar moves that shut camps in Oakland, California, and Portland, Oregon.
Police and the park’s owners told protesters at 1 a.m. local time to remove items including tents and sleeping bags, after which city workers cleared remaining belongings, Mayor Michael Bloomberg said in an e-mailed release. People can return to the park once the cleaning is finished, he said.
