Dan Rather and His Trenchcoat

Dan Rather, who just sued CBS to defend journalism, is seen back in his anchoring days, spending twenty minutes deciding the journalistic issue of whether or not to wear the trenchcoat and, if so, collar up or collar down.

Responses

  1. Dan Rather had always been a respected news anchor and was forced to step down after covering George Bush’s questionable military service records. It has been a well known “rumour” that Bush avoided the draft using the Bush family influence in the political and military realms. Rather was just there to try to substantiate this claim by people like Texas Lt. Gov. Ben Barnes and, apparently, but was probably victimized by another blow of the Bush family’s political influence.

Dan Rather’s trenchcoat might be the focus of this youtube video clip, but, beneath his trenchcoat, there is a lot more to be uncovered about his investigation into this powerful family, the Bushes, and how far its American eagle claws have extended.

Normally, a public apology would suffice to correct any ”misinformed” coverage due to lack of documented proof, so why not this time about George Bush?

Katie Couric: I believe you have to work much harder and longer to accomplish the news anchor’s image as what Dan Rather has built up over the decades. Keep these little pity satirical jokes against your peer to yourself because, not only they won’t do any harm to someone with such a stature, they are both unprofessional and downright sickening!
