I was being asked to say my name and address even I showed them the driver license before I vote.
And when I ready to drop the ballot into the box, the guy asked me to say my name again before letting me to finish the process.
I’ve heard a lady was complaining on the radio who has the same experience.
I am wondering whether they are discrimination.
First i want to congradulate Mr. Chan for winning the election on such difficult situation and still win by such a big margin. Then i am very disappointed for Mr.Yuan & Mr. Li after hearing their comments after the elction. Both of them sound so bitter and blame other people and so called outside factors for their own defeat.Lets be clear here Mr. Li lost more than 10000 votes.& Mr. Yuan lost by more than 5000 votes. Your opponents beat you fair & Square. You got nobody to blame rather then yourself in such a favourable situation at the beginning of this election. You guys just screw up yourself , just have some courage to admit it rather than being a cry babies & sour losers.I have a advice for you 2 guys.Never attack your oppenents charactor and do not be so personal. Stick to the issues and show some respect for your opponents. It will help you if you try to run again.

You Edward allien know nothing about the oriental culture.
First, I strongly suggest you go to school, may be UT, to attend some courses lecture by the Chinese professional.
Second, I don’t see both of them having anything violate the election regulations. If so, they have already been sued or compained. Right?
Third, both of them did stick on the issues and clearly piture out what a dame liberal govt running Ontairo during the past four years. What a mess! What a corruptive party!!
Fourth, even you pointed out how many votes they have lost, it is not evidence at all. Voters can be misguided by the media, their religious leader and many many more factors. May be the corruptive party have done something at the back we do not know at all.
Fifth, 文盲(you have to find out the meaning) is just a joke for both the East and West. The motto he said for the head tax will be continous for the generations as a historical record.
You are lost! Learn Chinese first!
I know your language and your culture. How about you?
That makes the difference between us. East and West.
That is the
JT had shown tremendous courage to run in this riding. A risk lost but well respected. Afterall, if the most promising candidate avoid this risk, how do you expect your followers to trust that you would step up to other challenges.
Please continue to lead your party to do a great job in the coming 4 years.
最失望嘅係 — 今届投票率得 52%﹐係歷史性新低! 咁即係有一半人根本唔在乎!
安省市民﹐實在令我太失望。尤其是華人選民﹐D華人﹗﹗唔該打少陣麻雀﹐煲少陣劇集﹐個腦唔好淨係諗住揾錢同食飯﹗There are things in the world to care about other than earning money and driving a good car﹗咁遠水路過到黎加拿大為乜? 咪又係果陣起香港驚共產黨殺到黎之後冇民主呀﹐冇自由呀﹐好啦咁而家移民過到黎喇﹐又唔珍惜個民主制度﹗
Two Newmarket men have been fined $4,000 for having 130 yellow perch over the legal catch limit.
Minh Hung Nguyen, 33, and Minh Thanh Tran, 77, were found guilty and both fined $2,000 for catching and keeping more than the legal limit of yellow perch from Lake Simcoe.
Court heard on Aug. 19, 2006, Ministry of Natural Resources conservation officers, a deputy conservation officer and an officer from the York Regional Police marine unit observed two men angling from a boat on Lake Simcoe.
The two men had several buckets of perch in the boat.
When the officers counted the fish, they found the men had 130 yellow perch over the limit.
Justice of the Peace Lise Hefkey heard the case in the Ontario Court of Justice, Newmarket, earlier this month.
The public is reminded catch limits protect Ontario’s fish populations and ensure the sustainability of the province’s resources for future generations.
To report a natural resources violation, call 1-877-TIPS-MNR (847-7667) toll-free any time or contact your local ministry office during regular business hours. You can also call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
One of the reasons why KK Li lose is that there are too many lawn signs for KK Li while Michael Chan only placed lawn signs in strategic locations. The impression is KK Li has a lot of support which urged more M Chan supporter to come out to vote. KK Li posting the lawn sign “too early" also posed a problem.

Kahoo you are absolutely bang on about Mr. Yuan’s arrogant.don’t forget Mr. Yuan lost the last election to Mr. Chan. And this time he is not running against Mr. Chan, therefore critisized Mr. Chan is really not approprieted. And he should ask himself why so many Chinese do not vote for him rather than blameing them.
