Given her attitude, not aptitude, during the time of her ministerial service under Tung, it may take a miracle for her to survive in the political circle under Tsang now.
葉劉 should bear this in mind: There is a big difference between being decisive versus being arrogant. Dealing with the masses cannot always go by the book, as proven by her infamous criticism on the Farlun Gong.
Just a side thought from 民主老加人’s “整死香港有葉劉" claim, has anyone looked into the cause of death of her husband? Depression? Cancer due to long term exposure to adversity? Or being entrenched in guilt because a dreadful decision was made based on his “mere requirement of a university graduate" to be his sole mate with no regards to the personality and suitability of the woman being the “better" half of him?

孽瘤 = Malignant Tumorous Karma ? 唉! If those 2,000+ people who attended her farewell party were there not because of some political reasons but were only for saying goodbye to her, then her Tumorous Karma had already spread to 2000+ people!
張相好靚? Sorry but I have my reservations. Even if that was true to the eye of the beholder, beware of a black widow!

I wonder how many of those 2000+ people or 100+ farewell gifts came from some party officials, propaganda machines, “patriotic" people, and the like.
I do think she deliberately tried to mislead listeners on her “real” popularity by making references to the QUANTITIES of the farewell gifts received and parties attended. Unfortunately, there are some people who have already known the QUALITIES of those so-called parties as well as those running them behind the scene.
Is it some political trick she picked up at Stanford during her East Asia studies?
Perhaps, she also needs to learn some humor from 朱咪咪.
