你介意端午節被南韓向聯合國申請成為「南韓的文化遺產」嗎?

  1. Not at all! Why?

With respect to the latest news on “recycled" Chinese rice dumplings, perhaps, it may be a good idea to let the Koreans register the “Dragon Boat Festival" as their cultural heritage. Otherwise, I am deeply concerned that the fragile feelings of the Chinese people would be hurt once again by the overseas anti-china forces who likely use cases like this one as ammunition for their smear campaign.

It’s likely that nobody would eat Rice Dumplings in not too far future, how could you claim that you are celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival?

Don’t they have a saying “禮失求諸野”?

  2. Not if the Koreans can do a better job than us at preserving this heritage. Use it or lose it.
